To see people saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped, empowered and serving.
In the Bible, the word “church” doesn’t mean the building, the leader or the entertainment.
“Church” means assembly.
The Church is the people (a body of believers). We’re a church dedicated to learning and doing the will of God.
Our congregations vary in size from a few dozens to several hundred. We come from all kinds of backgrounds, but share a vision—to preach the Gospel and prepare for heaven.
The Calvary Believers Chapel started in Hamburg, Northern Germany on 1st January 2013.
The Ministry has its Headquarters located at Werner-Siemens-Straße, Hamburg, Germany. This is also the seat of the General Overseer and Presiding Pastor, Most Rev. Charles Opoku Orvies.
The mission of the Calvary Believers is to know and love Christ so supremely as to represent Him and His values accurately and vividly to the world and serve people’s deepest needs in the way Christ Himself would meet them. Therefore, it is the church’s joy to look to God to explain His design for the church and His mission for it. --(Matthew 16:18)
We believe in one God, the Father, eternally existing, who is a Spirit, a personal Being of supreme intelligence, knowledge, love, justice, power and authority. He, through Jesus Christ, is the Creator of the heavens and the earth and all that is in them.
He is the Source of life and the One for whom human life exists. We believe in one Lord, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, who is the Word and has eternally existed. We believe that He is the Messiah, the Christ, the divine Son of the living God, conceived of the Holy Spirit, born in the human flesh of the virgin Mary. We believe that it is by Him that God created all things and that without Him was not anything made that was made.
We believe in the Holy Spirit, as the Spirit of God and of Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the power of God and the Spirit of life eternal (2 Timothy 1:7; Ephesians 4:6; 1 Corinthians 8:6; John 1:1-4; Colossians 1:16).
